Here in LA, the Greater Los Angeles Fisher House Foundation relies on your donations to support our mission. Your help is vital to assist us with paying for ongoing daily operations that are not covered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are also working to raise funds for the construction of the second Greater Los Angeles Fisher House. I’ve been coming to the fisher house for roughly four years now and it just keeps getting better and better. It’s really been a Blessing from Jehovah. :-) I’m so greatful for the simple check in and check out process being able to come in at late hours and leave early mornings if need be. The beds are comfortable and the showers are handicapped accessible. I’m so grateful for the staff and the warm welcoming hospitality they have shown. The fisher house is clean and accommodating. My dad has been in and out of the hospital since 2013 and having a homey place to stay helps set my mind at ease. All I have to do is talk his social worker and they promptly put in a request to the fisher house. They have never turned me down. My husband is even able to come with and support our family. The fisher house has proven to be a gift from Jehovah God. Thanks to our loving Father for giving me a safe and secure place to rest me weary head. Thanks Erma and the rest of the staff as well as volunteers here at the fisher house may you be blessed for your loving kindness.Â
